CFRE, Director at Ultimate Rainbow Consulting

B. Michelle Johnson, CFRE, is the Director of Ultimate Rainbow Consulting, specializing in fundraising planning, management, and leadership for nonprofits. She brings a team-centered approach to creating, implementing, and analyzing thoughtful fundraising and communication plans and systems for success. Her clients are primarily civil rights and advocacy organizations. Before starting her own business in 2020, she spent 20+ years as a Development Director advocating for women’s and LGBTQ+ rights. She also teaches fundraising in the nonprofit certificate program at the University of Washington.

She’s enthusiastic about many things and particularly enjoys biking around the city, hiking and camping, reading, writing stories and plays, baking cakes, sewing, and traveling with her wife. She's a recent cancer survivor. Their household is managed by two young kittens, Fannie Lou (Hamer) and Ramses the Purr.
