Multidisciplinary Artist, Experience Designer
Cole has been designing product and service experiences since the early 2000s. In 2018, he founded group6, a design consulting firm dedicated to leveraging the power of design thinking toward a sustainable future, leverages his expertise to help organizations craft engaging and impactful solutions to some of the world's most urgent challenges.
He's also a multidisciplinary artist whose work ranges from traditional media to new media and immersive installation. He currently serves as director of METHOD gallery, an installation space in Pioneer Square committed to providing innovative and accessible art experiences.
He loves meeting new people and thrives on uniting them towards common goals. When he's not working with clients to solve complex product and service design challenges, he's likely to be seen running around the Capitol Hill neighborhood, swimming in Lake Washington, or hard at work in his studio in Pioneer Square, the gallery, or building something at Passable, the maker space down the street. You may also catch him at the Cloud Room bar telling stories about growing up in Seattle, Olympia, or Aberdeen.
