Chief Impact Officer, Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle
Donna Moodie is a dynamic community leader with expertise in bridging art, commerce, government, and the environment to create sustainable solutions for urban challenges. She became the Chief Impact Officer at the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle (ULMS) in 2023, while also leading the Capitol Hill EcoDistrict, an initiative focused on economic empowerment, environmental resilience, and equitable community development.
With decades of experience as an entrepreneur, advocate, and non-profit leader, Donna excels at uniting diverse stakeholders to drive positive change. Her leadership roles include Founding Board Member of the Capitol Hill Housing Foundation (now Community Roots Housing), Commissioner for the Seattle Center Advisory Commission, and Chair of the Central District Forum for Areas & Ideas. She also served as Chair of the Seattle Small Business Advisory Council.
A renowned restaurateur and serial entrepreneur, Donna has recently re-opened Marjorie Restaurant, one of Seattle's beloved dining spots, alongside founding Marco’s Supperclub and Lush Life. She also advises hospitality businesses and serves on the boards of organizations such as Grist, Arte Noir, and the Seattle Foundation.
